given upon the question whether the Puique Judge, of the Supreme Court in this Colony has the

privilege of corresponding directly. with the Governor or whether he must pass his correspondence through the Colonial Secretary.

2. The indisputable practice is this Colony has been that the Puiène droge has this privilege and that his correspondence does not

pass through the Colonial Scaretary's Office: but It is Excellency the Governor has lately ruled that this practice

i ust gorrect.
